The exhibition Screening Project I at Start Museum is open to the public from March 9th to April 14th, 2024. This marks the beginning of another Start Museum’s long-term research project. In the future, the museum will commence each year with a “Screening Project” which systematically examining the historical threads of international video art and the contemporary creative achievements of artists.

This year’s first Screening Project I selected through recommendations by researchers and scholars, presents works by 21 artists from different regions and generations worldwide, including China, Switzerland, the United States, Germany, and Singapore. Artists such as Bian Yunxiang、Chen Xi、Alex Da Corte 、Dabeiyuzhou、Julian Junyuan Feng、Gao Jié、Guan Xiao、Li Ran、Liang Yujue、Liu Chuang、Shahryar Nashat、Rachel Rose、Hito Steyerl、Rhett Tsai、 Yu Jinying and so on will showcase their outstanding creations in this exhibition.
