Yao Mou In, born in 2000 in Macau, currently lives and works in both Macau and Chongqing. She graduated from the Painting Department in Rhode Island School of Design in 2023. Her works are based on internet culture, virtual imagery, and ACG (Anime, Comic, and Game) culture, primarily exploring the projection of desires onto East Asian women through “Moe(萌え) culture.” She has participated in group exhibitions in Macau, Vancouver, Rhode Island, and New York, including the Macau International Art Biennale.
