Yao Mou In, born in 2000 in Macau, currently lives and works in both Macau and Chongqing. She graduated from the Painting Department in Rhode Island School of Design in 2023. Her works are based on internet culture, virtual imagery, and ACG (Anime, Comic, and Game) culture, primarily exploring the projection of desires onto East Asian women through “Moe(萌え) culture.” She has participated in group exhibitions in Macau, Vancouver, Rhode Island, and New York, including the Macau International Art Biennale.

Her exhibition experience includes: “What I felt for you was love,” 603 Powell St, Vancouver, 2023; “The Space in Between”, RISD Painting Gallery, Rhode Island, 2023; Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale,Macau, 2021; Macau New Woman Contemporary Art Exhibition, Macau, 2019; and “USAO Show,” New York University, New York, 2019.
